AltTester® heads to Gamescom 2025: Let’s talk game testing and what’s next in game development

We’re thrilled to announce that AltTester® will be attending Gamescom this August in Cologne — and we’re coming with fresh ideas, a zest for insightful conversations, and a passion for helping game studios test better and faster.

Our mission? To support game developers in navigating emerging technologies — and that includes expanding to new platforms, embracing the impact of AI in testing, and building flexible, end-to-end test automation solutions that truly work for your game, your engine, and your team.

🎯 What we’re excited to explore:

  • Opening up to new platforms and expanding our cross-device automation capabilities. We are actively working on adding support for Meta Quest VR headsets and would love your feedback on what we have built so far – as well as which VR devices you would like us to add next!
  • Diving into how AI is already reshaping QA – and how we’re approaching automation in light of these current developments
  • Forming new partnerships with studios that need both reliable tools and hands-on support
  • Offering a customizable testing experience – from the automation tool to test services and team training

Whether you’re building in Unity or Unreal, we’d love to hear about your project, your challenges, and how you’re approaching testing. We’re fully geared for both engines, and we’re looking forward to conversations that go deep into real game development needs.

👋 Meet the AltTester® team at Gamescom

You’ll find Alex (CEO), Ru (CTO), and Dolly (Implementation Manager) at the Romanian Game Development Association booth — ready to chat about testing, automation strategies, or the future of AI in game QA. If you would like to schedule a conversation in advance, please feel free to reach out to them directly via LinkedIn or the Meet2Match app.

Let’s connect!

Whether you’re attending as a developer, tester, automation lead/manager, or publisher, Gamescom is the perfect place to explore how test automation can help you and your team with more time, more confidence, and better releases.

See you in Cologne!
